Eric Dubois

Eric Dubois, also known as EDP-Beats and Just Eric, is a Paris-born, Hawaii-based music producer with a story shaped by a global perspective. Raised in France by an American mother and French father, Eric’s love for music began at age 14 when he formed the pop-punk band The Creaps with his three best friends from school. His journey has taken him across cultures, from playing gigs in France to starting his production career in Argentina, where his experiences deeply influenced the music he creates today. Now based in Hawaii, Eric continues to blend his diverse background into his work.

Eric works with Ableton as VIP Tech Support, assisting renowned artists like Diplo, Grimes, and Mike Dean. He is based at Rendez-Vous Recording in Manoa, collaborating with artists under the guidance of award-winning producer Pierre Grill. Eric also founded Our Altered State Publishing, helping emerging artists navigate the complexities of the music business. His work has been featured in projects like Tazo Tea’s commercial with SZA, 90 Day Fiancé (TLC), and Life Below Zero (National Geographic).

Through his experiences and dedication, Eric strives to empower artists, helping them transform their ideas into meaningful music.

"What Got You Here Won't Get You There"

Concept Album by Cedric Clinton and EDP-Beats

This is the story of an artist (Cedric) and his producer (Eric) going through the ups and downs of the "Artist Life".

From making beats (Beat on da Pad) to a session in a sensory deprivation tank to relaxe and reset (Dream Float) or even a back and forth between Cedric and Eric while recording a song (Back and Forth).

The album will be submitted for Best Hip-Hop Album of the year at the Na Hoku awards, highlighting its significance in the artist's repertoire. 🤞
